Orthopedic Surgery

Our orthopedic surgeons provide arthroscopy, a surgical procedure used to visualize, diagnose, and treat joint problems in the knees, shoulders, elbows, wrists, ankles and hips. The arthroscope contains optic fibers that project an image onto a monitor during the procedure. The image allows the surgeon to see inside the joint with minimal invasiveness.

This technology assists with the visualization of torn or damaged cartilage and ligaments, along with other joint problems to facilitate precise solutions for repair. The small incisions made with this technique reduce scarring on the surrounding tissues as well as provide faster recovery.
